Most of our employees have been with us for several years. We do not have much of a turnover, probably because we are fussy about who we hire and because we are a pretty nice place to work.

- Treats all of our customers as kindly as good personal friends
- Prior paint store experience
- Some paint tinting experience
- Preferably with Benjamin Moore Paint or Pratt & Lambert Paint
- Having worked very well with retail customers, painting contractors and fellow employees
- Willing to adapt to our way of doing business
- Healthy and able to lift 40 pounds regularly
- Willing to do any job in the company
- No drug or alcohol problems
- Always on time to work, better yet early to work--Willing to stay late if working with a customer
- Willing to work any days and hours we are open
- Willing to work together with fellow workers
- Stays busy and productive without being prompted
- Likes being treated kind, respected and appreciated
- Is fun and likes to laugh
- Learns fast
It is very easy to be a superstar employee with us. We already have quite a few. We do everything possible to attract and keep employees with these attributes. You will not become wealthy working with us but we seem to have a better total compensation package than our competitors. We also work hard to make the 40 hours our employees spend with us each week as enjoyable as possible.
