This wonderful person from Seattle landed in Denver in 1998. She says she still remembers the first time she walked into Belcaro Paint when it was located on Colorado Boulevard years ago. She has been a loyal customer since that day. KD is our in-store weekend Color Consultant at the Leetsdale (Denver) store. Armed with a paint-splashed, checkered past--an education in history, art history, textile design and color theory, and work experience in visual merchandising, display production and project management--KD started her own color and design business (Sense 1, LLC) in 2003. In addition to a life-long passion for color, KD loves antique yardsticks and buttons, Bakelite jewelry, and mid-century modern pottery. She is a loyal National Public Radio listener and a viewing fan of PBS's Antiques Roadshow, and HBO's The Tudors.
