The older I get the easier it is for me to find slippery surfaces. I am amazed how a little moisture on a surface can lead to a fall. We now have a product that might help you avoid an unpleasant visit to the emergency room.
Benjamin Moore has developed a one-component product, which I have decided to put around my house, to make sure I don’t end up up-side down. It is a paint product that contains granular particles and truly reduces the probably of skidding or slipping, even if there is moisture on the surface.
The product is called Sure Step Anti-Slip Coating. It provides a durable skid resistant finish for interior and exterior concrete, asphalt or wood surfaces. It may be applied to walkways, steps, ramps, decks, patios, and tennis courts. It is easy to apply to any of these surfaces using a paint brush or roller. Since it is a latex-based product, clean-up is simply water.
It is fast dry, durable and even fills and seals smaller cracks. Sure Step is available in six factory made colors and, of course may be found at either of our Belcaro Paint & Decorating Center stores.
